Do you wish doctors and their staff knew more about breastfeeding? Would you like more mothers with breastfeeding problems to be referred for lactation help? With the blessing of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Coalition will provide the AAP’s breastfeeding Power Point presentation on disk to area lactation people, so they can deliver “lunch and learn” talks at local pediatric offices. This initiative will increase physicians’ breastfeeding knowledge AND provide face-to-face contact with those to whom they can refer mothers with problems and questions.
